I have lived and worked in Ferndale for nearly four decades. Over the years, I have seen our city deal with the challenges of a growing population. A balanced approach to business and residential growth is most important along with sensible environmental practices. I consider myself a team builder, working together with parties that represent different interests, with the goal of achieving consensus among all entities involved. I am fiscal conservative and believe in a common-sense approach to government. I am convinced that honesty, integrity and understanding are paramount in effectively serving others.
In the coming years, we will continue to grapple with such issues as growth, infrastructure development, traffic management, water and sewer needs and an enhanced quality of life. In addition, we need to continue being proactive in revitalizing our Main Street businesses. I promise to attentively listen to your concerns and ideas with an open mind, while at the same time being willing to make tough decisions, always taking into account what is best for our fair city.
Several of my children and grandchildren live in Ferndale and I want to see them all thrive and be successful in our community. If elected, I look forward to working for you along with other elected city officials, office staff, committee members and other government agencies and entities. Together, we will continue to make Ferndale a great place to live, work and raise a family. I would be honored to have your vote and I thank you for your support.
